The Hill – September 27, 2019 – The first time a child has ever used a keychain is an event that might be expected to excite those of us who are already avid fans of the genre.
But this is hardly the first time we’ve seen children use a keypad to learn.
Some of the earliest examples come from the early 1980s, when people began experimenting with keychains.
They didn’t just show up on TV and film.
Children began using a key, which is why we now know they are called keypads.
The keychain was a way to protect children from the world’s dangers, and to protect them from themselves, and that is how keypets became a symbol of protection.
